(Capitol / UMe) When I put the needle down on the first record, and I hear that introduction to ‘ I’d Have You Anytime. Impeccably conceived by Eric Clapton and Jeff Lynne, George would have given this show the thumbs up, I'm sure. George Harrison’s first solo album, All Things Must Pass. Most moving of all is Joe Brown's lilting rendition of the old classic, 'I'll See You In My Dreams'. Co-produced by Harrison and Phil Spector, many musicians contributed to the album, including Eric Clapton, Ringo Starr, Billy Preston, Pete Drake, Gary Wright, Klaus Voormann, members of Badfinger, players from Delaney and Bonnie band, and John Barham. A composition by George's mentor Ravi Shankar, entitled 'Arpan', is performed by an Indian classical orchestra - expertly conducted by Ravi's daughter, Anoushka. All Things Must Pass was released by Apple Records in November 1970.
